One of the most important factors in the process of transforming savings into investments is the efficiency of the banking system. There is a need to study the theoretical aspects of assessing the effectiveness of the banking system. As part of a theoretical analysis, it was possible to identify the main methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of various researchers. The hypothesis that the state and business, with a more efficient banking system, can allocate their resources at a lower cost is investigated.
