Theoretical foundations for building a model of students' social and informational intelligence

A characteristic feature of the modern stage of society development is the priority importance of information and digital technologies in all spheres of life. Adaptation of graduates of secondary vocational and higher education institutions requires the development of a special personality trait - social and informational intelligence, which will reduce the risks for young people in the information society and fully use its opportunities both in professional activities and in everyday life. The purpose of the article is to select and substantiate the theoretical basis for constructing a model of students' social and informational intelligence. Within the framework of the study, definitions of basic concepts (“model”, “information”, “intelligence”, “social and informational intelligence”) were formulated, the provisions of the theory of intelligence, the theory of information society and the theory of pedagogical modeling were analyzed and their significance for constructing a model of social and informational intelligence was determined. Based on the provisions of the theory of intelligence, the theory of information society and the theory of pedagogical modeling, a model of students' social and informational intelligence was constructed, based on the principle of the nuclear structure. The essence of the nuclear model is to represent personality quality as a stable component (core) and a dynamic component (protective belt). The features of the nuclear structure of personality quality are the integrity of the core, the variability of the protective belt, the relationship of the core and the protective belt, as well as the simultaneity of changes in the structure of personality quality in their unity. The nuclear model of students' social and informational intelligence is the main complex of models on which the construction of a strategy for the development of students' social and informational intelligence in the real-virtual space of an educational organization is based.
