This article examines modern scientific advances in the study of international supply chains, as well as logistics activities, typical for companies in the FMCG sector. The article provides an analysis of the conceptual apparatus, structure of supply chains, interaction of counterparties and the design of supply chains, including in the field of FMCG, and also touches upon issues related to modern tools to improve efficiency. This study allows you to form an idea of the semantic content of the concept of global supply chains, as well as the peculiarities of their functioning and current trends.
