The article provides a definition and purpose of inclusive education, a short overview of this educational method development, and the way implement ideas of co-educating children who have different educational needs were carrying out in Europe. Also the author presents an analysis of important tasks required for bringing to life the theoretical models of inclusive education of people with special educational needs in the Russian Federation.
