Theoretical and analytical review of scientific ideas about the essence of the tactics of supporting state prosecution

The article provides an overview of the concepts and structure of tactics for supporting public prosecution as developed in the science of prosecutorial activity and forensic science. Approaches to defining the concept and its relationship to the methodology and strategy of supporting public prosecution are analyzed. The issue of classifying prosecution tactics as a structural element of forensic science – forensic tactics – is examined. Modern scientific publications devoted to the tactics of supporting public prosecution in specific categories of criminal cases are studied. The author argues for the need to unify the definition of the concept of ‘tactics of supporting the state prosecution,’ to determine its content and structure, and to develop specific tactical recommendations to increase the effectiveness of this activity.
