The theoretical-legal issues of information support of environmental management

In this article there are considered issues of ensuring access to environmental information under the implementation of envi- ronmental management, other information-legal aspects in the field of natural resources use, ecological safety and protec- tion of the natural environment. The methodology of research, applied in the framework of inter-sectoral interaction, is the relevant and full meets the modern conceptions and legal paradigms in the information society. There is given characteristic of information function of environmental management, including account-register function, ecological monitoring, as well as there is revealed the information content of the following features: ecological forecasting, planning, supervisory control activity in the environmental field, etc. There are defined the main directions of legal regulation improvement of ecological - information relations, legislation, providing for access to the environmental information as the necessity conditions of Russia's accession to the Aarhus Convention, which is improving the efficiency of environmental management.
