Theoretical and tactical training of basketball students

The importance of theoretical and tactical training in the general system of training students - basketball players, its main tasks, means and methods is considered. The question of the popularity of basketball among modern youth, its influence on the functional systems of the body, the role in the education of physical and moral qualities among athletes is revealed. The authors have developed a technology for the theoretical and tactical training of basketball players - collections of the Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University. Questioning of coaches and teachers on the problem of the importance of tactical training of athletes was carried out. A pedagogical experiment was carried out in order to study the influence of this technology on the level of tactical preparedness of students, all stages of the study were disclosed. The paper analyzes and presents the results of studies in the control group and the experimental group, draws the appropriate conclusions, and gives recommendations for teaching students the basics of tactical interactions.
