Theory and practice of organization of nature reserves in Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the problems of weakening the legal protection of state nature reserves in the Russian Federation. The main problems of the application of the RF legislation on specially protected natural territories in practice are analyzed. It has been clarified that recently, changes in the legislation of our country regulating the creation and functioning of state nature reserves have been introduced, but the process of degradation of valuable natural objects and complexes continues. The author suggests possible solutions for a real and more effective protection of the environment.
