The theory of reflection as the basis for epistemological research in the USSR

The article is devoted to the analysis of the reasons that determined the interest of the Soviet philosophers to the sphere of the epistemology. Lenin's theory of reflection was interpreted as the epistemological one and Soviet philosophers had no right to criticize this concept. As a result hidden criticism of the dominant system allowed thinkers suggesting a number of original ideas (pragmatist conception of knowledge, epistemological concept).
