Shakedown theory and its practical application (on the 100th anniversary of this section of mechanics and the 50th anniversary of its development in CHPI - CHSTU - SUSU)

Review of research on shakedown of structures, made in Russia. The basic features of the Russian (first of all - Chelyabinsk) scientific school is emphasized: differentiated approach to qualitatively different processes of inelastic deformation and practical application of new theoretical results. A number of new research directions in mechanics of low cycle deformation and fracture are analyzed, concerning to researches of elastic and inelastic shakedown fulfiled in SUSU.
