The article is devoted to the role of borrowing and creative activity in the Japanese science and education. The main problems of the study are the impact of pedagogical traditions, creativity, plagiarism, the ratio of borrowing to a certain historical moment. In addition, we consider the relevance of the theory of the Japanese in terms of Russian education.
