Tepping movements of the fingers can be graphically recorded and visually represented as a family of curves that reflect the functional state of the distal arm (hand and fingers), as well as the conditions of their blood circulation. Like any oscillogram, the thermographogram of the finger curve follows the same rules as any other similar record (search function). It represents some sort of a model of sensorimotor performance and the search function of the neuromuscular apparatus.
