Teratological changes of flax flower parts (Linum usitatissimum L.)

Бесплатный доступ

On the base of analysis of teratological changes of flax flower structure among mutants of Voronezhsky 1308 and Avangard varieties we can suppose that calyx lobes, corolla petals and capels in contrast to stamens and ovules are derivatives of leaf metamorphosis. Separate changes in flower structure (heterostyly short- and long-pistillate flowers) do not break normal functioning. Even so they promote cross-pollination of flax plants.
