Thermal emission during the process of carbon phases formation from calcite melt

The results of experimental synthesis of free carbon phases from calcite melt under high temperature and pressure with use of laser heated diamond anvil cell and «in situ» observations are discussed. Probable mechanism of experimentally observed thermal emission is proposed, the last can arise local temperature up to 5000-7000 K and higher. Phase carbon statement in synthesis products and possibility of glass-like carbon formation from carbon melt are discussed. The last can be produced in spatial local regions with thermal emission.
