This article discusses terminology in the field of education in English and Russian languages, with a focus on the standardization of terms in accordance with state standards and ISO international standards. In the context of globalization and multilingual communication, the importance of uniformity in the use of terms becomes especially relevant, as it helps to improve the quality of translation of educational materials. The study includes the analysis of the text “Information and Communication Technologies in Education and Training in Asia and the Pacific region”, which allows us to identify specific features of translation and application of terms in the educational sphere. The object of the study is the terminological system in the field of education, and the subject is the standardization of terms. The article uses the methods of studying methodological literature, translation analysis and description of translation peculiarities. The results of the study emphasize the need to create a unified terminological base, which can serve as a basis for further scientific research and practical recommendations for the translation of educational materials, as well as contribute to a more effective exchange of knowledge at the international level.
