Possible equilibrium concentrations of the water gas and concentrations of the gas obtained by heating H 2 - CO 2 and H 2O - CO mixtures of various composition are presented as nomograms. The nomograms enable to determine the oxygen potential of the gas phase and conditions for the reduction of metal oxides.
