The article reviews two books of memoirs by E.P. Lazarev-Mironov, which he wrote in 1970-1990. The books were published in Russian language in America after the death of the memoirist. A native of the Nikolsk-Ussuriysky town (Primorsky Krai of Russia), he being a teenager was forced to leave Vladivostok together with his cadet corps, he left his homeland and lived in a foreign land for seventy-eight years. His emigrant path is almost the entire 20th century long. It included Korea, China, Serbia, Czech Republic, Germany, USA. The first book of Lazarev-Mironov’s memoirs tells about his childhood and adolescence in Russia, about the revolution and civil strife in Siberia, about the beginning of foreign intervention in the Far East. The second book tells about the battles of the Civil War, that took place on the territory of the Asian part of Russia, his study in the Khabarovsk and Omsk cadet corps, the evacuation of cadets in the fall of 1922 on the ships of the Siberian flotilla of Admiral Stark to the ports of Genzan (Wonsan) and Shanghai, and various stages of emigrant life. In both books, in addition to personal memoirs, E.P. Lazarev-Mironov uses letters, memoirs, notes of his relatives and comrades in the cadet corps, as well as materials from some participants in the events of those years. In general, the «Memoirs of a Tsarist Cadet» by E.P.
