Territorial placement of milk production

Бесплатный доступ

In the structure of world production of cow's milk by region, traditionally the largest share is occupied by Europe, Asia, North America and South America. At the same time, there was a slight structural shift in the production of milk to Asia and Oceania from other regions. Structural changes are due to the excess growth rates of milk production in Asia and Oceania over the growth rates of other regions. On a scale of individual countries, 57.51% of the global volume of cow's milk is produced in the already established “top ten” countries. Significant increases in cow milk production in India, Turkey and New Zealand amid a decline in volumes in China and Russia slightly change the structure of world milk production. There is an increase in the share of India, Turkey, New Zealand and a decline in the share of the other countries of the "top ten".
