Today, territory marketing plays a very important role in creating and promoting a territory and setting it apart from competitors. To be in trend and comply with global development trends, territorial objects need to express their own uniqueness and use territorial marketing tools, for example, territorial branding, in order to form the positioning of themselves as a brand. Territorial branding is a deliberate strategy to increase the competitiveness of territorial objects, whether it be an urban space, district, city, region or even an entire region in order to maintain positions and develop the economic component. The article examines territorial marketing as the most important factor in the development and increase of the competitiveness of the territory in the current situation.
