Territory of monastic park as the object of plant diversity preservation in the conditions of urban environment in Novgorod the Great city

The history of occurrence and formation of park plantings at Antoniyev monastery within city line of Novgorod the Great is presented in article. Specific diversity and current state of arboreal-shrub vegetation is defined. Factors of decrease in stability of plantings are revealed.
