Terrorism: prevention problems

The basis of any crime prevention is the study of the causes of their commission. Terrorism prevention starts with the study of the causes of the emergence and existence of this negative antisocial phenomenon. Identifying these reasons can allow taking timely necessary measures, to forestall thus, the manifestations of terrorism, which are terrorist acts. All these causes are of two levels - global, national and individual level, which reveals the causes of individual susceptibility of specific individuals to extremist views and ideas. Those and other causes must be considered together, as it allows to understand the mechanism of terrorism in modern society and to identify the most effective measures and means to counter it. Thus, it is necessary to refuse the stereotypes of perception of terrorism as a consequence of economic or social contradictions and, as a consequence of the impoverishment of certain segments of the population. This stereotype is false and is designed to uncover the true causes of terrorism, but only to justify that is a sin against the truth and creates the basis for the justification that should not and can not be done.
