Testing as one of assessment methods in the conditions of modern education

The article is dedicated to the specificity of testing in the conditions of education in modern educational institutions. The most frequently used kinds of pedagogical tests and the nature of their using in the field of teaching are considered. The analysis of the scientific literature on the research topic is realized, which acts as an information basis.
