The article discusses the issues of application such a technique as testing for education quality management. The correlation between the education quality and a de- gree of mastering of educational material is described. The author compares objectives and results of the ed- ucation with the levels of learning material acquisition. The testing as a management method is considered in the context of the requirements and criteria of any kind of management.
