Thesaurus modeling of French business communication terminology: semantic field of "Enterprise"

The article discusses the possibility of systematizing French terminology of business communication by modeling the semantic network of the term « enterprise», one of the key French business terms. Building a semantic network of the terminology under study involves determining the semantic significance of terms by identifying various semantic relations (equivalent, hierarchical, associative), as well as the distribution of terms in the semantic field in accordance with their meaning. The authors demonstrate the process of thesaurus modeling of linguistic objects by the example of one of the semantic fields describing different types of enterprises. The authors conclude that the application of a thesaurus approach, involving a multi-stage division of the thermal field and the identification of semantic relationships between the terminological signs of the studied area, contributed to the creation of a linguistic model of French business terminology in a system-structured form.
