Teaching verbal communication in a foreign language involves teaching three of its aspects: communicative, interactive and perceptual. Failure to master one aspect of communication disrupts the communication process as a whole. Observations of the educational process show that one of the main reasons for failures in teaching verbal communication is the underestimation of the interactive aspect of communication.
