Tibetan sources on the dissemination of the Rgyud bzhi

The dissemination of the rGyud bzhi in Tibet has hitherto not been the subject of any detailed study, although Tibetan histories of medicine contain much information. In the present paper, an attempt is made to interpret all of the relevant passages from available Tibetan sources concerning the dissemination of the rGyud bzhi, the most important of the medical source in the history of Tibet.
