Pathomorphological picture under thymic and lymphatic status in foals was studied, pathognomonic changes in organs and tissues were established and cause-effect relationships between revealed pathological processes were established. The objects of the study were 2 corpses of newborn male and female foals, as well as the corpse of one aborted male fetus after complete miscarriage (miscarriage) in a mare in the last trimester of pregnancy; the fetal age was 254 days. Pathological autopsy was performed by the method of partial dissection of the organocomplex. During the corpse section the material was taken for histological examination - tissue fragments of the lungs, myocardium, kidneys, lymph nodes, thymus, spleen, liver, pancreas, thymus, adrenal glands, thyroid gland, brain, which were fixed in 10 % neutral formalin solution, sections were stained by Ehrlich hematoxylin and eosin, the microscopy was carried out on a Levenhuk 320 microscope. Pathological material for laboratory research included the pieces of the lungs, lymph nodes, spleen, liver, kidneys; the fragment of the duodenum was sent to RSGI ‘Krasnoyarsk Veterinary Department’, the infection was excluded. The results of pathomorphological study of the organs and tissues of newborn foals and the fetus showed that pathognomonic signs of thymo-lymphatic status had been such changes as hyperplasia of the thymus and lymphoid tissue of peripheral organs of the immunopoiesis - spleen in combination with stencil changes in adrenal glandsorgan hypoplasia, including cortical substance, the blood in cortical and medulla, as well as cortical fibrosis and substance. Basing on the research data, the conclusion was made about congenital insufficiency of the adrenal glands, which led to generalized proliferation of the central and peripheral organs of the immune system, which together led to sharp decrease in the adaptive capacity of the body and led to death of newborn animals and the fetus
