Type of description in Bunin's "Meliton"

The article analyses the landscape in Bunin's Meliton and shows, that this landscape represents a new type of literary description, that appeared in the literature of modernism. Bunin's description is analysed in comparison to the «classical» landscape by Turgenev, so that its new character becomes obvious.
