The warticle deals with the importance of applying a situational approach to law enforcement operations for the detection and investigation of transnational criminal activities in water domains criminal activity in water domains, as well as patterns of formation of information about the crime. The problems arising during the disclosure and investigation of transnational criminal activities in water domains can and should be resolved using methods of operational wanted situation. In order to confirm or refute the central hypotheses were analyzed typical operational-search situations, their multivariance and dynamics. In general, the analysis carried out confirmed the central hypothesis and led to the conclusion that the approach under study makes it possible to develop algorithms for overcoming the problems associated with solving crimes in water domains; to determine the search for additional opportunities for obtaining operatively significant information in relation to both foreign citizens included in the transnational criminal community, and their direct ties.
