Typology of historical development: 'o of the Holy Trinity and its significance for history

Modern research in the field of theology of history presupposes the search for new methodological approaches focused on the typology of the study of historical processes. In line with such a task, a scientific hypothesis is put forward in this article, according to which the existence of a universal typological model is possible that allows such studies to be carried out. The authors believe that the basis for the construction of such a model is patristic material concerning the personal revelation of the Holy Trinity to a person who is the subject of history in different ways of his existence, such as personality, society and the universe. The mode of action (τρóπος τῆς ἐνεργείας) of the Persons of the Holy Trinity can be considered not only in a static plane (indicating the simultaneity of the joint work of the Persons), but also in a dynamic plane in terms of a historical change in the nature of the personal revelation of the Holy Trinity. According to the authors, this change in character is not limited to some simple sequence, but can be described within the framework of a “two-vector model”, which, in turn, is the foundation of a historical typology. It is planned to continue this article, which will consider the typology of historical development on the examples of the individual and the community, as well as the unique history of the Catholic Church and the world at different historical periods.
