The typology of Chinese political leaders in the context of the theory of "paternalism with Chinese characteristics" (case study of the CPC leaders of the third and fourth generations)

The article examines specific features of political leadership of Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao as the heads of the Communist Party of China in the context of the theory of paternalism with Chinese characteristics. For the analysis the author uses an original typology of the paternalistic political leadership. The research results describe general and personal aspects of the leadership exercised by CPC heads of the third and fourth generations.
