Typology, structure and methods of modern therapy of astenic type of remissions in accessible schizophrenia

The term asthenia has appeared in the lexicon of psychiatrists since the middle of the 18th century, but the most significant and detailed descriptions of asthenic symptoms in the structure of schizophrenia and schizophrenic spectrum disorders were published only in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. According to a number of authors, the frequency of asthenic disorders among patients in psychiatric clinics and outpatient clinics varies from 1.2% to 18% [13,25,38,79,81]. As for the problem under discussion, in the literature available today, there is little systematic information on the epidemiological assessment of asthenic symptoms in schizophrenia and schizophrenic spectrum disorders.
