The information published in the article is useful when conducting research related to the examination and attribution of items of decorative and applied art made of precious metals. The article examines four more types of convex name stamps of the Moscow branch of the K. Faberge, presented in the database of the State Research Institute for Restoration, which combine the surname of the owner, Carl Faberge, and the sign of the Supplier of the Supreme Court in one punch. These types We assigned the name “Type 3” - “Type 6” to the names. The main attention is paid to the comparative analysis of imprints of the name stamps of these types, which makes it possible to distinguish genuine name stamps from the K. Faberge from fake ones. Considerable attention is paid to how the state of the stamp imprint on an object is determined by the conditions of its affixing, the decorative treatment of the surface on which it is affixed, as well as the life of the product. The article has practical value both for museum employees who keep items of decorative and applied art made of precious metals, and for specialists involved in the examination and attribution of such products. The article also compares visual in-formation about names “Type 3” - “Type 6” from the State Research Institute of Infrastructure Research and database and published in open literary sources. The information published in the article is useful both scientifically (publication of photographs of stamp impressions in good quality, the possibility of conducting a comparative analysis of them) and practical (identifying fake stamps). The authors also show that a poorly preserved or unusual-looking brand is not always fake.
