Thyroid status and its influence on oxidative enzymes activity

The research results of the enzyme activity of power exchange in liver of rats with hypothyroidism are presented. It is found out that experimental hypothyroidism was accompanied by the decrease in activity of mitochondrion enzymes, in particular malate dehydrogenase with simultaneous increase of activity of succinate dehydrogenase. The results of the researches allow us to refer the enzymes of Krebs cycle to thyroid-dependent metabolism links.
