Severe consequences of falsification of evidence as an evaluative dimension of a corpus delicti affecting the degree of its public danger

The author examines the problem of assessing ensuing of severe consequences when qualifying falsification of evidence as a mandatory characteristic of the crime under Part 3 of Art. 303 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Attention is drawn to the fact that the court practice of recognizing certain consequences resulting from falsification of evidence as severe is heterogeneous. The lack of consensus in the literature requires a broader analysis of the range of possible severe consequences for victims of falsification of evidence.
