Tyutchev tradition in contemporary Russian literature

“Night vision literature” is the definition offered by Russian critics to describe the phenomenon of contemporary small prose by some so different writers as L.S. Petrushevskaya, T.N.Tolstaya, N.N. Sadur, Yu.V. Mamleev, V.O. Pelevin and others. Their “night poetry” is considered as Soviet mythology — “bright future” idea-destruction means. The feeling of fear, insecurity, life instability shaped in the motives of night, chaos, loneliness, aloofness, dream as irrationality presence. However, Soviet myth demythologization is not the only task of contemporary authors. Their outlook is similar to many Russian artists of XIX century, for instance F.I. Tyutchev
