Situational management of from the standpoint of science postnonclassical Situational management of is considered from the standpoint of post-nonclassical scientific rationality emanating from the fact that knowledge about the object not only relate to its interaction with the features of the observations, but also with the values and structures of the target entity. It describes the main stages of decision-making process to regulate the problem situation. It is emphasized that contingency management has become the dominant paradigm for the organization of control processes in the XXI century. A new design paradigm is considered which is aimed to significantly reduce the development time and to optimize a product performance. Key terms and main areas for the improvement of a high-tech products design are discussed. The paradigm is illustrated by the examples from aircraft engineering field.
