Jeffery - Hamel type exact solution of Reynolds equations for turbulent flow within a slender wedge

We consider steady turbulent Jeffery - Hamel type flow of a viscous gas from a source in a slender wedge. Within the framework of classical Prandtl mixing length theory for turbulent viscosity and the Boussinesq approximation for turbulent stress tensor possibility of selfsimilar solution is established. In this case the partial differential Reynolds equations are reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations. The found velocity profile is compared to classical logarithmic velocity profile.
