The aging of population causes the necessity to extend the retirement age and draw elderly people into social and working relationship. Alongside with it the Russian labour market is characterized by intolerant attitude to elderly people that leads to discrimination cases, uneffective human resources management and impoverishment of population. The article shows the reasons of intolerant attitude to elderly employees and gives recommendations for the formation of the tolerant attitude to elderly employees.
