Antioxidative activity of ethanolic extracts of propolis, birch leaves, pine needles was examined. Antioxidative activity was assessed by the method of cathodic voltammetry on the antioxidativectivity analyzer “Antioxidant”. It is found out that ethanolic extracts of propolis, birch leaves, pine needles have high antioxidative status. The physiological experiment was conducted on Wistar rats. The detoxification ability of complex plant extract, containing propolis, birch leaves, pine needles in the ratio of 1 : 1 : 1, is studied as related to lead and cadmium in the experiment on model animals. Upon experiment completion, heart muscle, liver, kidneys, spleen, muscle and bone tissues of animals were tested for content of cadmium and lead ions. Mass concentration of heavy metals was measured by the method of stripping voltammetry on the analyzer “ТА-07”. We determined the background content of lead and cadmium in rat’s organs and tissues in case of experimental toxicosis of heavy metals. It is found out that organs and tissues have selectivity in accumulation of lead and cadmium. The maximum lead accumulation was recorded in bone tissues of laboratory animals, the maximum cadmium accumulation was registered in kidneys. In the course of experiment we found out that extract of propolisа : birch leaves: pine needles decreases the concentration of lead and cadmium in organs and tissues of laboratory animals in comparison with those rats which do not get plant extract. Functional groups provide compounds, contained in natural raw material, with antioxidative activity and detoxification ability. Dietary supplements, containing propolis, birch leaves, pine needles, have a beneficial effect on detoxification processes and strengthen health of animals.
