The article deals with the structural and semantic modification of the school topos as a variety of the childhood space in the works of B.P. Ekimov. There are revealed and analyzed the means of the artistic representation of this topos in the context of the anthropologic, geo-cultural and mythopoetic types of the space, there are identified the peculiarities of the symbolic meanings of the school image.
