Human trafficking as a scientific problem in Russian social reseach (1995-2000)

A review of the literature on the problem of human trafficking during the period 1995-2000 is presented. The main criminological, sociological, economic and gender approaches to the subject have been studied in this period. In the article the author applies methods of systematic, comparative historical, structural-functional, institutional analysis. This approach allows to determine the most promising directions of anti-trafficking programmes development.
