Human trafficking: scientific comprehension of the notion

This article discusses the definition of human trafficking. It highlights the views of leading scientists in the field. Special attention is paid to the definition presented in the documents of the UN, Council of Europe and the International Organization for Migration. The analysis of a number of regulations of foreign countries, regulatory action against trafficking of human beings is carried out.
