Бесплатный доступ

The article examines family values and child-rearing traditions in Buryat culture that are relevant for developing a regional educational program for today’s preschoolers. The author analyzes and compares the core values of traditional Buryat culture that can be effectively integrated into the educational process of preschool institutions through cooperation and collaboration with families. The explored areas of preschool educa-tion are: patriotic, spiritual and moral, social, and labor development. As educational values, the author highlights ethno-ecological traditions and rules of conduct in nature, which are currently being revived in family culture through children’s participation in practices such as pilgrimages to sacred sites, among others. Spiritual and moral education is based on traditions of respect for elders — especially one’s parents — care for relatives and family members, and hospitality.
