In article the author investigates uncharacteristic for other territorial groups of Tatars the phenomenon – borondok, morondok. The tradition to appoint borondok father and borondok mother at Tatars in north-east part the Republic of Bashkortostan became result of long interethnic interference the Bashkir, Russian and Tatars.
