Traditional values and new communicative practices as factors influencing the stability of Russian society

The relevance of the topic is dictated by the trend of modern society towards individualization, and this is happening at the global level. Striving to integrate all kinds of innovations into his life, a person loses social ties, abandons traditions - the basis on which these innovations are built. As a result, the uniqueness and fundamental spiritual values, their timeless essence, are dissolved. Therefore, the degree of significance of traditions and values must be clearly defined. Otherwise, the individual will not be able to identify the uniqueness of his own “Self” and society will not be able to preserve its “We”. The aim of the study is to analyze the role of traditional values and the possibility of preserving them, on the one hand, as well as the degree of influence of new communicative practices on society, on the other hand. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that the transformation of the value orientations of society occurs under the influence of digital technologies and information communications.
