Traditional and heuristic approaches to interpretation of geological and geophysical deposits in light of perspective shungite deposits’ discovery

The article considers a hypothesis of the possible discovery of maksovite deposits in Tolvuiskaya syncline of Onego synclinore. Direct and indirect signs of diapir folds were revealed on the territory of “Tetyugino”. The diapir model significantly increases the chances of finding shungite deposits. These types of folds have a set of genetic characteristic features.
