Transcendence as a spiritual potential of personal and societal development

The article examines the systemic principles of transcendence that bind the individual and society together by revealing the meaning of human existence. The positive significance of the transcendental procedure in the architecture of the individual's spiritual world is identified. The authors conclude that in the new realities of permacrisis, the individual as a substance based on a certain system of values, as well as society as a whole, needs a radical axiological “reset”, a worldview “revolution”, after which the individual will become the main driving force of the new society, shifting its attention from the sensual-material “layer” to that which can give meaning to its own existence. In this process, transcendence will be a kind of “effective technique for the transformation of souls”. In conclusion, as a result of transcending sociality and subjectivity, the individual can become an active and transformative force that is realized in social space.
