This article deals with main tendencies of change of family value orientations in the context of social transformations in modern Mongolian society. The principal attention has been paid to the characteristic of factors of social environment promoting transformations in the sphere of family activity. The content and direction of family and extra-family value orientations of modern Mongolian family are also analyzed.
