The transformation of guideline values in Bei Dao’s works during his emigration period

Being the headliner of Misty poetry, Bei Dao’s works before 1989 has been the focus of many poetry critics, however, there has been less study on his poems after Bei Dao went into exile for nearly a decade. The emigration period has seen the changes of Bei Dao’s poem that new images like homeland, travel, foreign countries, native language, parents, the East were endowed with more meaning. Besides, his poems became short, and topics became more casual. In article research the transformation of guideline values in Bei Dao’s works during his emigration period.
